How about another sweet deal from Microsoft... EXAM INSURANCE and FREE TechNet + Subscription for 1 year?? Program Expired 1/31/2007Some of this is great news for all of you. If you know of someone else who would be interested in taking advantage of this, do them a favor and forward a copy to them. Microsoft has just announced that they will be giving away a FREE one-year subscription to people who sign up for their EXAM INSURANCE program, and take the cert test by 1/31/2007!!! In case you aren't following the price of this deal, that amounts to an additional $349 freebie, all for a $45 EXAM INSURANCE policy… The details of the Microsoft EXAM INSURANCE program are laid out on the www.hyperlearn.com website at http://www.hyperlearn.com/microsoft-exam-insurance-cert-safe-second-shot.htm . Microsoft also has a FAQ here: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/mcp/offers/insurance/faq/default.mspx There are three caveats (actually 4): 1. You must register at registration link provided on this FAQ page, before Jan 31st (you should be registering before purchase or before taking the test - but you can still register after the fact, subject to caveat 3). 2. You must TAKE THE EXAM before 1/31/2007 3. This is for a one-year subscription to TechNet Plus DIRECT as long as supplies last. This means 10,000 subscriptions, on a first-come-first-out basis. Now, how should you take advantage of this opportunity? First of all, you can only get Exam Insurance from a Microsoft Certified Partner for Learning Solutions. HyperLearning Technologies IS a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Learning Solutions (CPLS) for Learning Solutions. You don't have to take a course here, to buy an EXAM INSURANCE test voucher (and to take advantage of the TechNet Direct subscription - but, in case you might be thinking about taking a course, there are 3 opportunities that will get you inside this window, already on our schedule. If you have another requirement, let us have it. We would need a minimum of 3 people to schedule a course. A daytime-course would be best - because you'd have to take the exam pretty quickly -- We have a day course scheduled for MCDST that runs for one week beginning 1/8/2007. If you need the MCDST cert, look at all of the other incentives in the air right now… It would DEFINITELY be worth it to take a week off from work. (Don't forget HyperLearning Technologies' offers of free Second Shot (Yes, you get to keep the TechNet), and/or free tuition, and/or half-price tuition. (Browse the www.hyperlearn.com website for details.) A second possibility, for those of you who are still putting off your MCSA/MCSE upgrades from 2000 to 2003 - The upgrade course takes 5 days. A third possibility would be to join HyperLearning's night-evening-Sat MCSE track, beginning on 1/8/2007. You won't be finished the 70-290 cert training by 1/31 - but you will be within 16 hours of finishing, and probably close enough to merit taking a stab at the test, just to seal up the TechNet subscription. If you pass, you win - If you don't pass, you still have the Second Shot exam to get the cert -- and you will have seen the real test, too. Of course, if you are one of those who is suffering from exam-paralysis, maybe this might be enough incentive for you to get off your duff's and go knock off that exam. Remember, a "certificate of completion" and $5 will get you a cup of coffee - at Starbucks. If you want to get the real advantage of your training efforts (e.g. take it to the bank), you have to get your ticket punched - by passing the cert test. |
