MCSE Upgrade to MCITP
The MCSE Upgrade to MCITP program provides a path for a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) on Windows Server 2003 to transition his or her skills to achieve the Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Server Administrator certification on the Windows Server 2008 platform. Server administrators are recognized among their peers and managers as leaders in the day-to-day operations management of Windows Server 2008. The MCITP: Server Administrator certification is designed to demonstrate and communicate certificate holder’s ability to take system-wide ownership of Windows Server 2008 administration.
The MCITP: Server Administrator certification can help the recipients develop and validate their skills in their current positions, or propel them toward a future role, such as: Windows server administrator; Server systems administrator; monitoring operator; and network administrator.
