MCITP Enterprise Support
The Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) credential enables professionals to highlight their field of expertise. They can distinguish themselves as IT professionals with the current skills and proven job-role capabilities to work effectively with a comprehensive set of Microsoft technologies. The Microsoft Certified Professional: Enterprise Support Technician credential validates the knowledge and skills required to deploy and support the Windows Vista operating system. The program consists of four courses and two exams: one Prerequisite MCTS exam, 70-620, for which the student will earn the MCTS: Windows Vista Configuration certification and one Professional Series exam, 70-622.
Prerequisites:
Candidates should have at least one year of experience in the IT field or equivalent knowledge with experience resolving issues concerning network connectivity, desktop operating systems, security, and applications. Their experience should also include addressing logon problems, performing password resets, and resolving most issues with desktop applications. They typically provide phone support at the tier-1 or tier-2 level in a wide range of environments, including retail stores and the medium-sized organization or enterprise environment.
Objectives:
Train students to deploy and support the Windows Vista operating system and prepare the students to pass Microsoft exams 70-620 and 70-622.
