What to do in the event of bad weather?Hyperlearing Technologies' computer training facility is too small to be carried on major radio and TV school closing lists, in the event of snow, ice, and other inclement weather. In addition, we have no one to watch the weather and update our web site every morning.As a policy, Hyperlearning Technologies will follow the exact policies, of the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, which will be broadly published. In the event of snow, icing, storms, and other events that MAY effect travel and school meetings, listen to the radio and TV to find out if the NNSY is advertising late arrivals and/or closing because of weather. NNSY has several policies, including words like "essential personnel only," etc. Our policy will be to close - or start classes later - if NNSY implements ANY of their weather and storm conditions. Note: Since most of our students are paying for their courses, based upon a very small number of classroom hours, we will be very conservative about dismissing classes. Do not assume that just because the "ABC Kindergarten" is closed and or public schools are closed that we will be closed. Follow the more conservative policy of the Norfolk Navy Ship Yard. If storms, snow, ice, and other inclement weather forces us to close or suspend classes, we will announce a make-up policy, at the next regular class meeting.
