Transcender Certification Exams: ACTIVATION INSTRUCTIONS =================================================================================== Welcome! You are now on the road to passing your next certification exam! To activate your Transcender certification exam practice test product(s), follow these simple steps: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. If you do not have a Transcender Club account, you will need to "Join" the Club - OR - "Sign-In" to an existing account. You can do either by using the following link: http://www.transcender.com/club/default.aspx?tab=regcodes Remember this login and password, you will need to use it each time you activate or update the practice test. 2.  After you join the Transcender club, (look for the Red "Log In", in the upper right corner of the home page), then look at the top of the left column for a link to "Enter Registration Code." 3. You should have received a "Registration Code" along with these instructions. Enter the "Registration Code", exactly as it appears, into the "Registration Code" entry field.  (hint:  cut-and-paste if possible) 4. Click the "Add Now!" button. If you mistyped the Registration Code, an error message will display. If you receive a message that the Registration Code has expired, contact your training provider. 5. After you have added a registration code, you will be offered a download link (if you have a CD, you will not need to download). 6. Download the test engine and install it (once only - if you have more than one code).  If you are running VISTA, be sure to accept the option to add a shortcut to the desktop - you will need to run it with elevated privileges the first time. 7. Download each exam that you have a code for, and install it.  These will all install in the same engine. 8. When you open the test in the test engine for the first time, you will be prompted to activate the product.  Use the SAME login and password that you used for the Transcender Club registration (hint - accept the option to remember the password).  If you have unrestricted access to the internet, activation is a click away.  If not (e.g. firewall or proxy server), it will fail.  You can then do some cut-and-paste of long keys in a plain vanilla web page and activate it.  You only need to activate once. 10. BE SURE TO FOLLOW THE "TESTMANSHIP" METHOD FOR USIN THE PRACTICE EXAM!  (Don't use it as a "practice exam!") ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Your feedback is welcome.
