Microsoft MCSE certification in Virginia Beach. HyperLearning is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. Our computer training facilities serve all of Virginia Beach, Norfolk VA, Chesapeake VA, Portsmouth Va, We cover Tidewater Virginia

computer training in Virginia beach is a win-win with Microsoft Exam Insurance

For network professionals, HyperLearning Technologies offers the premier Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) credential

An MCSE is qualified to effectively design, plan, implement, maintain, and support computer information systems in a wide range of computing environments using the Microsoft Windows 2000 or 2003 server platforms and the Microsoft BackOffice integrated family of server products. HyperLearning Technologies is the ONLY Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Learning Solutions (CPLS) offering Microsoft certification and MCSE training in Virginia Beach, Norfolk VA, Chesapeake VA, and Portsmouth VA.  We also have numerous Microsoft MCSE computer training and certification candidates from the Peninsula, including Hampton, Newport News, and Williamsburg.  We differentiate our program from the others, by focusing our efforts on YOUR CERTIFICATION.  Yes, we issue Microsoft Certificates of Completion, but we also provide Transcender Practice tests, Microsoft Official Curriculum books, Microsoft self-study books, and test vouchers for each certification.  In addition, our program includes dedicated time for instructor-led review and practice for the certification tests.  In many ways, we are like a combined certification training program, and certification boot camp.

We will start-up a new MCSA -> MCSE -> MCSE:Security track regulary.  This one is definitely not for the newbies and career changers!  Graduates of this program, who take and pass their certifications on schedule are in GREAT DEMAND for their skills.  These are the "cream-of-the-cream" and prospective employers know it.

This class meets Monday and Wednesday evenings, from 5:30 - 9:30 PM and Saturday Morning from 8:30 AM - 12:30 Noon or T-Th-Saturday Afternoon.

But, if you were expecting to become the "cream-of-the-cream," without putting something into it - well - maybe you should reconsider... This program is intensive as well as extensive.  It ASSUMES that you have A+ and Network+ (or verifiable equivalent skills), THEN, it includes 6 courses and 4 progressively more comprehensive certifications to achieve MCSA.  Add on another 3 courses - and 3 more certifications for MCSE, and then, 1 more tough security course and certification for the MCSE:Security.  The total program requires 8 MONTHS of dedicated effort (but that is a lot less than most careers - and it pays as much or more).

You can, of course, take only the MCSA, only the MCSE, or the full bag for MCSE:Security.  (You can also join an in-progress class, if you already have some certs - but we recommend that most candidates re-sit the earlier courses, for refresher and review (and we make you a sweet deal to make that possible).

You will start up with course MS 2274 (41 hr) Managing a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment Exam 70-290, followed by course MS 2275 (27 hr) Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment Exam 70-290; then, take 2 weeks off to take the 70-290 Managing and Maintaining a Windows Server 2003 Environment cert exam.

This one cert starts you off with a bang!  It takes you right into Windows Server 2003 and the wonders of Microsoft Domains and Active directory.  The Cert, when you get it, also earns you the Microsoft MCP credential, if you don't already have it.  MCP is "Jacks-or-better" for most corporate support jobs these days.

Your next two courses, will earn you the Implementing, Managing, and Maintaining a Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure Microsoft Exam 70-291 certification.  Here is where that Network+ cert comes in to play.  These courses are mostly about the server-side of networking - and it kind of assumes that you are already skilled in "networking."  Candidates without N + networking skills will find this to be a blindingly-fast course, and a very tough exam to pass.  It's still tough, if you do have the computer networking skills, but it is much more achievable.  This includes MS 2276 (16 hr) Implementing a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure: Network Hosts Exam 70-291 and MS 2277 (40 hr)  Implementing, Managing, and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure: Network Services  Exam 70-291, taken as a single, 56-hour course.

By the time you complete these two server certifications, XP is a breeze, so, we give you an abbreviated course in XP, MS 2285 Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft Windows XP Professional Exam 70-270.  This certification is very easy for those who make it this far.  This course still requires the traditional 2-weeks to pass the cert exam.

The final course in the MCSA track is MS 2824 Implementing Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server ISA 2004 Exam 70-350. We did not select this course because it was the easiest, we selected it because it is in the greatest demand in the corporate IT shops.  It also sets you up for the next step to MCSA:Security, if you aren't going to continue through to grab the "Golden Ring" (MCSE).  This course allows the traditional 2 weeks off to take the cert.

The MAIN DIFFERENCE between MCSA duties and MCSE duties is Active Directory and security planning and design skills....

We begin the MCSE program with MS 2278 (40 hrs) Plan and Maintain a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure Exam 70-293.  This course is followed by the traditional 2 weeks of study for the certification exam.

Next, is MS 2279 (40 hrs) Plan, Implement, and Maintain a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Active Directory Infrastructure Exam 70-294.  Followed by two weeks of study for the certification exam.

AnnnnnD, For the Golden Ring, the Microsoft MCSE certification program is completed with MS 2830 (24 hrs) Designing Security for a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Exam 70-298.  This Certification not only completes the requirements for the MCSE, but it also completes ONE of the two electives required for MCSE:Security.

If you are continuing on for the Microsoft MCSE:Security credential, that is typically scheduled shortly after you complete the track above.

Note:  ALL of HyperLearning's Microsoft "packaged" certification programs will automatically include a Second Shot voucher for all exams.  Single Microsoft computer training courses will automatically include Microsoft Exam Insurance.  You will not need to purchase these separately, if you take your computer training from HyperLearning Technologies.

Prerequisites: CompTIA A+ and Network + computer certifications or equivalent computer knowledge and skills.  Hyperlearning teaches these CompTIA A+ and N+ computer training courses when requested.  If you wish to take these prerequisite courses, request them before beginning one of the Microsoft Certified Professional Tracks.  A very good choice would be to take the MCP (Desktop) program first, even if it is just a refresher for you, then move into the more advanced MCSE program.  This will often result in your being hired into the field in a lower-level position, while you train for higher-level Systems Administrator and/or Systems Engineer opportunities.

Objectives:   Demonstrate Systems Engineering expertise in the topic areas of Windows 2003 servers, clients and networks.  The Microsoft MCSE Certification track can be taken in small bytes, or as a full track (but note, there are many cost advantages to signing up for a full track program).  Hyperlearning Technologies is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Learning Solutions (CPLS).  Element K course numbers quoted below, with the equivalent Microsoft course number for cross-reference purposes.  Microsoft MCP certification can be fulfilled by passing ANY Microsoft OS exam. HyperLearning Technologies Teaches Exam 70-290, Managing a Microsoft Windows 2003 Environment, as the first course in both the Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) and the (MCSE) Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer tracks.  You may choose to take any course and exam, if your objective is simply MCP certification.  HLT has found that there is a synergy in taking the track exams in this order, putting Windows XP after the first two basic server courses.  This synergy is partly because much of the XP exam, 70-270 is about integrating XP into a server / domain environment and enterprise management of XP.  HyperLearning Technologies teaches the elective topic area of the Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2004, since this prepares you to become MCSE: Security, with the addition of only one additional computer security training course.

Course Objectives: Demonstrate expertise in the  six core topic areas and one elective area—four computer networking systems, one client operating system, one design and one elective area—by passing the following Microsoft certification exams:

MCSA Courses

Exam 70-290
Exam 70-291
Exam 70-270
Exam 70-350
