Microsoft Office Specialists computer training is commonly known by either the MOUS or the MOS acronyms. There is no difference in the training courses or certifications. HyperLearning Technologies employs only MOS Master instructors to train for this certification. No longer known as Microsoft Office Certifications (MOS or, previously, MOUS), the program is now called the 2007 Microsoft Office system certifications. Within this, there are two titles: Microsoft Certified Application Specialist (MCAS) and the Microsoft Certified Application Professional. (HyperLearning Technologies does not offer any training for the MCAP program.) Microsoft outlines the MCAS / MCAP career path on their website at http://www.microsoft.com/learning/mcp/msbc/datasheet/default.mspx
Microsoft Certified Application Specialist Series: MCAP exams and training materials are still under development. In the meantime, Office 2003 is still the most used office environment in use today.
