The classroom is configured with two independent gigabit networks, and each computer is equipped with two 100 MB NIC cards. In the right-rear corner is seen the gigabit network rack for this classroom. We maintain two physically separate networks for each classroom and a dedicated, dual-Xeon server, with a Terabyte RAID-5 array for computer training disk images. We can roll-out almost any desired (pre-configured) classroom computer training configuration in literally a half-hour or less. In the event of a computer crash (or, more likely a student-induced computer malfunction), the instructor can re-image the failed computer, from the instructor's console, without disturbing or impacting the rest of the computer training lab activities. ___________________________________________ 12 computer training classroom, viewed from the back of the class (Click any thumbnail for a full-size view) Shows spacious areas, with no student-crowding. These open spaces facilitate one-on-one and over-the-shoulder computer training assistance by a roving instructor when needed, during computer labs and exercises. Students all have an unobstructed view of the instructor, the whiteboard, and the overhead projection screen. The classroom, and the entire building is smoke-free, but smokers can quickly get to the patio (seen in a different view) during breaks. Restrooms are handicap-enabled, and are located directly across the hall from the classrooms. Our entire focus is on helping computer training students achieve THEIR CERTIFICATIONS.
