Presenting a series of seven (7) free, non-technical information seminars on the Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003, over a period of 4 days, from 25 July to 28 July 2006. This is a public service, educational event, not a sales event. (There will be vendor's representatives from all of the sponsors, showing their wares in a nearby room at each seminar, except the SBDC seminar.) Actually, there are eight (8) seminars: The first seminar, event number 108197, is a private seminar, by invitation only, from the Hampton Roads Small Business Development Center (SBDC), Small Business Development Center members who receive specific invitations, should ignore the "closed event" status, and sign up for the "Wait List." You will receive confirmation, if you are invited. There is NO Microsoft Across America Truck event for this seminar, but the Seminar location is a short drive from the Tidewater Community College Chesapeake VA campus. If you wish to attend a show-and-tell session in the Microsoft Across America truck, also sign up for the truck event number 108614. The next six seminars will be open to the public will be held at the TCC campuses in 4 Tidewater cities, and will be targeted for non-technical small business decision makers. Seminar hours are deliberately spaced to accommodate most business decision maker's busy schedule, with some events early in the morning, some spanning lunch, and some scheduled at the evening drive-home time. The final, 7th seminar, will be free, open to the public and will be held at the offices of HyperLearning Technologies / KIS Computers in Virginia Beach. On Friday, July 28th, the session will be targeted specifically for the more technical go-to-person in the small business, who will be expected to "make things happen." This seminar will be 3-hours long, and a little more technical. This location was selected to provide for hands-on computer demonstrations of live Small Business Servers.
