COVID-19 Update for HyperLearning Technologies, Inc.

Following Governor Northam’s Phase Two Guide Lines and Executive Order 65:

HyperLearning is allowed to open and hold face-to-face instructor-led classes.  Depending upon the make-up of the class, classes will be Instructor-led, Remote Synchronous or Mixed, that is, a combination of students in the classroom and remote students.  Regardless of the modality of training, the expectations of the students and the instructor will be the same--professional instruction, approved curriculum, labs, quizzes and assessments for grading  delivered to prepared and engaged students.

For in person classes, CDC guidelines will be followed including the wearing of masks, social distancing, sanitizing stations and sanitation of common areas.

For Remote Synchronous classroom students:

  • Students will receive eBook codes to access their text books online. ( Hardcopy books are available if desired.  Students must make arrangements for pickup or shipping)

  • Students will receive  eLab codes to access their labs (if part of the curriculum)

  • To participate in the Remote Synchronous class, students will need:

    • internet access

    • headphones with a microphone

    • dual monitors

HyperLearning has also received official notification from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as follows:

“The new law allows for VA to continue to pay benefits regardless of the fact the program has changed from resident training to online training.  Also, students will continue to receive the same monthly housing allowance payments that they received for resident training until January 1, 2021, or until the school resumes normal operations of resident training.”

This is a fluid situation and the above may change.

In the meantime, we must all take steps to reduce the risks and the extent of the virus.

Take care, stay well and see you at the training center.
